OPENING NIGHT
With a supportive crowd cheering with warm hugs all around in creating a truly safe and inclusive atmosphere, Leanne Blu opened the evening with a heartfelt speech about her life journey, her transformations while reminding everyone that no one has to face life challenges alone.
Following her inspiring speech, Michelle Chen, Leanne’s soul sister, delivered a beautiful and sentimental speech accompanied by a heartfelt performance from Gianne Chan—a song encouraging everyone to stay and embrace life.
Leanne’s message for Hong Kong was clear: “Don’t forget who you are beneath the expectations and responsibilities. For those who wish to be different, there will always be criticism and judgment from those who don’t understand you. Remember, there are billions of ways to live because there are billions of us.”
